Sunday Super Saver ski program at Elk Mountain
In order to obtain special rates--- $159.00 lift and lesson/ $189.00 lift, lesson, and rentals----- for a six-week pre-paid ski program at Elk Mountain, registration must be completed by November 27.* Skiing with this program, on Sunday afternoons at Elk Mountain, is from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM starting Sunday January 8, 2012.

For the Yuengling Corporate Challenge Thursday nights at Sno Mountain, beginning the 1st or 2nd Thursday in Jan. and continuing through the end of Feb. or the beginning of March. Unless something changes from previous years it's an inexpensive ($20 Lift Ticket & Race Fee) way to get out & play. No previous racing experience required, we're only there for the fun! LUPUS SKI DAY AT ELK MOUNTAIN - JAN. 8, 2012

If you would like to purchase lift tickets for the Lupus Ski Day please call the Lupus Foundation office at 570-558-2008 or 1-888-99LUPUS. Tickets must be purchased by January 6 and will not be sold at the mountain. The tickets are for a half day of skiing (12:30 - 4:30 pm or 4:30 to 10:00 pm) and they are only $25.

The Scranton Ski Club will hold a winter party at the Endless Mt. Resort Recreation Bldg. just 2 miles from Elk Mt. Ski Resort hosted by Don and Jan Herr. Festivities will transition from the "halfway house" at Elk Mt to Endless Mt resort at 4:00 PM. There is an indoor heated pool and hot tub with changing rooms and showers available, also a game room and there will be music for dancing and , of course there will be kibitzing. Admission for this party is a covered dish and your favorite beverage (s).
Club will supply Hamburgers and Hot dogs.

If 20 or more people want to ski, a group rate of $47 for the day is available. Your request and full payment of $47 for this lift ticket must be registered with President, Peggy Czarnecki @ 570-341-2249 no later than February 23, 2012. No exceptions.
Come out and have some great winter fun! Some of of us that are not skiing will be hiking or snowshoeing.
DIRECTIONS: For those not following the road rally course you can reach the party site by taking exit 206 off of route 81 North, head east on route 374 and follow the signs to Elk Mountain. Continue past Elk Mountain for 1 mile on route 374 to the stop sign at the "T". Turn right and proceed 1 mile to the Endless Mountain Resort and Stone Bridge Restaurant driveway (signs and driveway on the right). Proceed up the driveway and take the second left hand turn to the recreation building, pond and parking area. SEE YOU THERE.

Black Diamond Ski Club trip to Stratton, Vermont has openings. The trip will leave March 1, Thursday at approx. 5:00 PM from Scranton and return March 4, Sunday at approximately 10:00 PM. Trip includes round trip motor coach, three nights lodging in walk to the lifts 2 bedroom, 2 bath condos, four per unit, and three days of skiing, Friday, Saturday and till 3 on Sunday.
